A white Fox television reporter got a flavor of what the Black Lives Matter movement is all about when he was sent in to cover a protest Saturday, and it wasn’t pretty.

BLM protesters blocked Interstate 94 to chant the name of a black man who was killed by police last week. Twenty-one officers were injured as they attempted to disperse BLM protestors, who hurled rocks, rebar, and Molotov cocktails at police, NBC News reports.

Amid the melee, a Fox news reporter attempted to have a civil discussion with one woman on video, and simply asked why the group was blocking the freeway. The protester’s outrageous reaction, and the barrage of threats and insults that followed, was posted Sunday to Vid.me.

“Why, why are you guys here? Are you fighting for what we’re fighting for?” a BLM protestor, who appeared to be a black or Hispanic woman, asked the white news crew.

“I asked you why you are pressing the police and why you are here. Tell me why you’re here,” the white male reporter shot back.

“Tell me why you’re here?!” the protester said. “Why the f**k are you so entitled?”

“GET THE F**K OUT OF HERE!” the woman screamed into the reporter’s face at the top of her lungs.

She then proceeded to rush the reporter, bumping him in the chest as she yelled through a megaphone in his face.

“GET THE F***K OUT OF HERE!” the woman repeated, over and over.

Another protestor stepped between the two and corralled the reporter away. Others nearby also got in on the action, shouting at the reporter and grasping at his microphone.

“She don’t have to tell you shit!” another BLM activist yelled at the news crew. “Get the microphone out of her face!”

“Don’t touch me!” the reporter told the agitators. “Stop touching my microphone!”

“Drop his ass, dawg,” another protestor interjected.

“Then you can leave! You can leave, or motherf***a drop yo ass!” a male protester yelled at the news crew. “Yea, what?!”

“What kind of journalism is this?” another yelled at the man.

The reporter stood firm.

“Stop touching the microphone,” he said.

The reporter attempted to walk away from the agitators, but they formed a human fence around him and repeatedly chanted for him to “get out of here!”

The reporter moved closer to the police line in an apparent attempt to record a broadcast, but the BLM hecklers followed and continued to scream and issue threats.

“He’s working with them,” the original agitator yelled at the reporter. “He’s working with them. He’s displaying their message. He is the puppet of the white supremacy … you are a disgrace to journalism!”

“You are a disgrace to journalism!” she screamed.

The reporter eventually walked over with police as the protestors followed, still screaming through their microphones.

“Get him out of here!” they yelled.

Police appeared to slowly retreat from the descending protesters with the reporter while repeatedly shouting “stay back” before the roughly three minute video cut out.
