Race agitators turned St. Paul, Minnesota into a third world war zone as they hurled bricks, bottles, materials from a construction site, and even lit fireworks at police officers Saturday night.

St. Paul Police say the assailants also threw rocks, bottles, bricks and even rebar. “At least five” officers were injured, according to the department.

The department also reported concrete was dropped on an officer, “possibly” from a bridge.

St. Paul police confirmed Sunday night the officer suffered broken vertebrae after a concrete block was “dropped on his head.”
