A protester standing on the grass outside Hillary Clinton’s Portsmouth “unity” rally yesterday was struck by a car allegedly driven by a Democratic National Committee leader.

Video of the incident shows an empty parking spot near the protesters’ location near the road. The camera was panning the small crowd when a woman with an alarmed voice shouted “Watch out!” several times.

The camera panned over to show the car on the grass and in contact with the woman’s legs.

“She’s on the grass. There wasn’t any reason for that at all,” another protester could be heard saying.

There did not appear to be any attempt to back the car away from the people standing on the grass.

Local blogger Kimberly Morin reports the car was being driven by Ray Buckley, chairman of the New Hampshire Democratic Party and vice chair of the Democratic National Committee.

She explains:

Buckley pulled into the ‘reserved’ parking lot. There were a couple of protesters in the space that was open so they moved but one woman was standing ON the grass and Buckley CHOSE to DRIVE INTO HER rather than stay IN the parking space.

“Of course, there were no apologies from Buckley. Why? Because he did it intentionally. That is the type of violent filth running the New Hampshire Democrat Party and who sits on the Democrat’s national committee,” Morin writes.
