Alabama Democrats were allotted 60 delegates to the Democratic National Convention.
Either one was missing, or the delegates have a hard time with math.
Playing on the theme of “champions,” the spokesperson declared, “We cast, proudly, 50 champion votes for Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton and we cast 9 votes for Sen. Bernie Sanders.”
“Don’t you have one more?” a confused-looking Stephanie Rawling-Blake said in return. “I’ll count it as an abstention,” she added.
The Alabama contingency seemed unfazed.
