There’s only one presidential candidate who practices the “Blue Lives Matter” mantra.
Jacksonville, Florida police officer John Hannaford told a story this week that the mainstream media seems to preoccupied to tell: Donald Trump bought some 400 pizza for the department prior to his visit to the city.
“So yesterday I was working an offduty job and this message came across that 43 pizzas had been delivered to our zone’s substation,” Hannaford writes.
“I thought that was pretty massive of someone to purchase 43 pizzas for the police. It’s not unusual for the community to bring food by the substation and to be honest I think the city for the most part supports it’s police. But that’s a lot of pizza.
“So today I’m gassing up at the station downtown after the Trump rally and a sgt. pulls in to get gas also. We started talking about the crowd and he asked if I heard about the pizza.
“I said yes 43 of them. He said no there were at least that many delivered to all 6 zones and more to the corrections guys,” Hannaford writes.
“You won’t hear this from any news channel but Trump bought pizza for the entire department. Easily 400 pizzas.
“He may say what ever comes to mind at times but there is no doubt that he loves this country and the people,” according to the officer.
An estimated 16,000 people turned out for Trump’s Jacksonville rally on Wednesday, News 4 reports.
Trump campaign social media director Dan Scavino tweeted a video dated the day of the Jacksonville appearance of Trump holding court with law enforcement officers on the tarmac near his plane.
I have seen @realDonaldTrump respect & appreciate LEOs for 20+ yrs. Watching them now embrace him- is awesome! #LESM pic.twitter.com/bifze6Rxpi

Officers from numerous agencies could be seen crowded around the candidate, talking and taking selfies.
