CNN apparently doesn’t want anyone to know supporters of Donald Trump can also be Good Samaritans.
The (Clinton News) Network’s HLN aired a live interview with Steven Eckel, a “Good Samaritan” who helped to rescue a baby from a hot car in a Kohls store parking lot.
Appearing via Skype, Eckel could be seen wearing a blue “Trump 2016” t-shirt on “The Daily Share”:
But when interview with Eckel, who is a retired New Jersey sheriff’s officer, was rebroadcast an hour later, producers blurred out his shirt.
Watch it here:
The anchor didn’t explain why Eckel’s shirt was unreadable.
“We blurred the logo and shouldn’t have; it was done in error,” the network said after the incident, according to the Washington Post.
