Have you every wonder who that “SOB at the family picnic” is? He’s known as Uncle Joe.
Vice President Biden sought to tug the heart strings of some 200 union members in Warren, Ohio today by taking credit for the auto bailout.
In doing so, in likened himself to the “SOB at the family picnic.”
“Remember what they were saying about y’all,” Biden said during his pitch for Hillary Clinton.
“They were saying American workers are not productive. That y’all were lazy. I mean, try to remember what this really was, man.
“That you couldn’t compete with the Japanese. You couldn’t compete with the Germans. We were as smart, we weren’t as dedicated, we’d become lazy, and it wasn’t worth it,” Biden said.
“I know I get blamed but I’m happy now I got blamed for being the SOB at the family picnic insisting that we bailout — quote unquote — bailout the automobile industry.”
Biden was speaking to about 200 unionists in a half-empty hall in Warren, Ohio.
