Hillary Clinton’s campaign is in panic mode.

MookCampaign manager Robby Mook sent a frantic email to supporters on Tuesday evening, asking for more donations and warning that the possibility of a Donald Trump victory is very real.

“As of this morning, the Washington Post-ABC News tracking poll has us down one point,” Mook wrote.

“As of yesterday, Trump’s odds of winning had climbed to above 1-in-4, per Nate Silver’s projections. And he seems to be making up ground in Florida, according to a whole slew of polls. The truth is that Trump has a real, viable path to 270 electoral votes.” (emphasis added)

Another email sent on Wednesday under Michelle Obama’s name even floated the prospect of losing.

The message, titled, “How we could lose,” Obama offered a no-brainer.

“If more people vote, Hillary will win. If people stay home, we could lose.”

The emails come as Hillary’s polling is trending downward as Trump is surging.

The USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times “Daybreak” poll now shows Trump dramatically breaking away from Clinton:

Trump is now leading Clinton, 47.8% to 42.4%, according to the poll.
