Bill Clinton’s draw isn’t what it used to be.

While campaigning in Sioux City, Iowa, four years ago for a candidate for Congress, the former president drew some 1,500 people, the Sioux City Journal reported in October 2012.

But today, 1,200 of those had something better to do when he was in town for Hillary.

On Wednesday, only 300 people turned out to see Clinton stump for his wife in the very same town, according to Journal reporter Bret Hayworth.

Cody Hoefert, co-chairman of the Iowa Republicans, accentuated the pain by pointing out Sen. Chuck Grassley, who is running for reelection, drew twice as many people in a town apparently significantly smaller.
