Will CNN chief Jeff Zucker hold a “news” production crew and correspondent accountable after they were caught on camera joking about Donald Trump’s plane crashing?
Correspondent Suzanne Malveaux was preparing for a live shot at Trump’s Carrier appearance in Indianapolis, Indiana on Thursday when a camera captured her banter with the on location production crew and likely a control room producer.
A clip published by Scott Jones shows Malveaux three different times prior to the live report.
As Malveaux is given a one-minute warning, a crew member off camera says, “If I do this, it means he’s landed.”
Then she said, “That means his plane’s crashed,” as Malveaux feigns a horrified look before laughing.
Seconds later, she delivered the live report.
