President Obama has less than two months to continue his fundamental transformation of America, and he appears to be working overtime.
A new analysis of immigration numbers indicates Somali “refugees” are entering the United States at the highest rates “ever.”
According to Refugee Resettlement Watch, 2,598 Somali refugees came to the U.S. in the first two months of FY17 — that is, October and November 2016.
Citing data from the Refugee Processing Center, RRW identified the top states accepting Somali refugees:
Minnesota (334)
New York (283)
Kentucky (169)
Ohio (158)
Arizona (146)
Missouri (136)
Texas (133)
Washington (113)
Colorado (97)
Pennsylvania (89)
Despite the apparent terrorist attack last at Ohio State University by a reported Somali refugee, as well as the September knife attack on St. Paul mall shoppers, “we are admitting the highest weekly average of Somalis to the US that we have ever done in the last 30 years,” according to the immigration watchdog site.
Refugee Resettlement Watch digs deeper into the Minnesota numbers and finds Minneapolis is far-and-away the city most impacted.
