Top presidential advisor Kellyanne Conway wasn’t sure what all the screaming and obscenities were all about yesterday in Washington, DC.
Asked by George Stephanopoulos about the Women’s March on Saturday, Conway replied, “I frankly didn’t see the point.”
Continuing, she said, “You have a day after he’s uplifting and unifying and you have folks here on a diatribe. I think they could have requested a dialog.
“Nobody called me and said, ‘hey, can we have a dialog.'”
Referring to the potty-mouthed geriatric Madonna, Conway said, “You have celebrities from the podium using profanity-laced insults. You have a very prominent singer worth hundreds of millions of dollars not going over to women’s shelters here in DC to write a check but instead saying she thought of burning down the White House?”
Conway went on to point out these are the same tactics used by Hillary Clinton and they didn’t prove successful with the American voters.
“The whole celebrity thing didn’t work for Hillary Clinton. She tried that in her campaign and it failed,” she said.
She added, “Guess who was conspicuously absent President Obama, Secretary Clinton. They were up on the platform applauding and embracing President Trump.
“They weren’t here marching with women.”
