Can Donald Trump do anything right in the eyes of CNN?
When President Trump was boarding Air Force One to take his first flight on the plane Thursday, he didn’t turn around to wave to the media.
The network was live broadcasting Trump walking from Marine One, across the airport tarmac to Air Force One.
Host Kate Bolduan interrupted Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti to say, “Let’s pause for just one second as — this is a big moment as President Trump boards Air Force One for the very first time to take his first trip on his new plane.”
Host John Berman added with a twinge of sorrow (or contempt?), “He didn’t stop and wave. You know, I think you see with a lot of presidents they walk up the stairs, they turn around and wave and then get on. This is his first time. I bet we see that in future trips.”
“We shall see, you never can predict,” Bolduan said.
