CNN reporter Jim Acosta had a pout fest during a live broadcast today, complaining about the news outlets President Trump called on during a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House today.

“The two questions that were called upon by the president in this news conference went to the Christian Broadcasting Network, which is owned by Pat Robertson, obviously the televangelist down in Virginia. It’s a very conservative broadcasting network,” Acosta said.

“And Townhall.com, which is a very conservative news website and so in the last three news conferences, all of the questions to the American news media have been handled by conservative press and so, Wolf, there’s no other way to describe it, but, the fix is in,” he claimed.

The reporter went on to speculate that White House aides may think “this is cute,” but the questions he would prefer to ask “can be shielded for so long.”

While Acosta may not like it, CBN and Townhall asked substantive questions, according to the White House transcript.

CBN’s David Brody asked:

Both of you have criticized the Iran nuclear deal, and at times even called for its repeal.  I’m wondering if you’re concerned at all as it relates to not just the National Security Advisor, Michael Flynn, who is recently no longer here, but also some of those events that have been going on with communication in Russia — if that is going to hamper this deal at all, and whether or not it would keep Iran from becoming a nuclear state.

And secondly, on the settlement issue, are you both on the same page?  How do you exactly term that as it relates to the settlement issue?

And Townhall’s Katie Pavlich:

Mr. President, in your vision for the new Middle East peace, are you ready to give up the notion of two-state solution that was adopted by previous administration?  And will you be willing to hear different ideas from the Prime Minister, as some of his partners are asking him to do, for example, annexation of parts of the West Bank and unrestricted settlement constructions?  And one more question:  Are you going to fulfill your promise to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem?  And if so, when?

And, Mr. Prime Minister, did you come here tonight to tell the President that you’re backing off the two-state solution?
