New York police engaged in a low-speed chase with a runaway bovine on Tuesday.
Video published by ABC News shows a NYPD SUV tailing the black cow as it scampers through the streets of Jamaica, Queens.

One resident who was walking to work tweeted photos of the cow with its tongue wagging:

Other video shows chaos as emergency personnel yell at bystanders as the cow ducked under a police tape during the 2+ hour ordeal:

Observers jumped into cars and media grabbed their cameras to avoid being plowed over.
The cow, which had escaped a slaughterhouse, nearly mowed down a pair of men trying to catch it.
