Is the left’s violent rhetoric causing Donald Trump’s haters to act out?

An intruder wearing a backpack climbed over the White House fence Friday night, CNN reports, and was apprehended outside the executive mansion.

The president was in the building at the time. The person’s intentions, so far, have not been released.

But the violent rhetoric of leftists like Madonna is doing nothing to drive criminals away from acting out.

During the Women’s March the day after Trump’s inauguration, the singer told tens of thousands of people that she had contemplated destroying the president’s house.

“Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House,” Madonna said.

“But I know that this won’t change anything. We cannot fall into despair.”

So what role is the violent rhetoric playing in security breaches?

And what accountability is there for people who foment hatred against an administration with such over the top statements?
