The group, which calls itself the ‘anonymous environmental activist collective,’ snuck into the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, California and destroyed a large section near the fifth hole’s green in an apparent attempt to send some kind of environmental message.

In an anonymous statement given to The Washington Post, the anti-Trump vandals said they “tore up” the golf course in response to the Trump administration’s “blatant disregard” for the environment. One of the vandals reportedly said “Repurposing what was once a beautiful stretch of land into a playground for the privileged is an environmental crime in its own right.”
These ‘activists’ also filmed the crime in action and sent the video to The Washington Post. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department is investigating the incident.
