So far, McDonald’s has not apologized publicly to Donald Trump after someone posted a ridiculous attack against the president on the restaurant giant’s Twitter page.
“@realDonaldTrump You are actually a disgusting excuse of a President and we would love to have @BarackObama back, also you have tiny hands,” the corporation posted on Thursday.
It was deleted and the company posted this followup:
Twitter notified us that our account was compromised. We deleted the tweet, secured our account and are now investigating this.

“Twitter notified us that our account was compromised. We deleted the tweet, secured out account and are not investigating this.”
McDonald’s stopped short of apologizing to Trump.
Robert Gibbs is Global Chief Communications Officer for McDonald’s according to his personal Twitter account.
He’s also former spokesman for President Barack Obama.
Will Gibbs’ partisan leanings prove to be too strong for the company to apologize?
