On more than one occasion, Twitter has provided a platform for a far-left professor to savor the idea of President Trump’s death.
Lars Maischak, who teaches — of all things — American history at Fresno State University, was called out by Turning Point USA’s Alana Mastrangelo for seeming to be “pretty obsessed with assassination.”
.@LarsMaischak you sure about that, professor? You seem pretty obsessed with assassination. It's also clear you don't respect our laws. pic.twitter.com/Mdt50PIJzD

She was responding to Maischak’s claim that he does not “intend” to harm the president, nor does he “wish” for anyone else to do so.
But Mastrangelo provided the evidence that may indicate Maischak’s hopes otherwise:
“To save American democracy, Trump must hang,” he tweeted. “The sooner and the higher, the better.”
In February, Maischak tweeted, “Has anyone stated soliciting money and design drafts for a monument honoring the Trump assassin, yet?”
On another occasion, the professor explained “justice”:
“Justice = The execution of two Republicans for each deported immigrant,” he tweeted in February.
Despite the numerous threats and violent rhetoric, as of Tuesday morning, Twitter is allowing Maischak’s account to remain active.
