On Wednesday, Republican Congressman Steve Scalise was shot by a left-wing terrorist who vowed to “destroy” Trump.

The shooter, identified by law enforcement officials as 66-year-old James T. Hodgkinson, is a supporter of Bernie Sanders and a fan of left-wing TV hosts John Oliver, Rachel Maddow, Bill Maher, and many others, according to his social media accounts.

According to his Facebook page, Hodgkinson is a “democratic socialist” who supports Bernie Sanders. He even had a large picture of Bernie Sanders as his banner image and a profile picture that says “Democratic socialist explained in three words: We the people.”

Hodgkinson was into left-wing conspiracy theories and believed that President Trump had ties to Russia. He signed a petition calling for an investigation into Trump-Russia ties.

The shooter was also a fan of John Oliver, Rachel Maddow, The Daily Show, Bill Maher, Robert Reich and Democracy Now.
