Former Heat Street editor Louise Mensch took to Twitter on Wednesday to make a shocking claim: that her “sources” tell her Trump advisor Steve Bannon is facing the death penalty.

“My sources say the death penalty, for espionage, being considered for @StevenKBannon,” she wrote about Trump’s strategist.
“I am pro-life and take no pleasure in reporting this.”
It’s not clear why the “reporter,” who now writes at Patribotics, would make the claim.
