There isn’t a government program Democrats haven’t liked — no matter how dysfunctional, wasteful, or burdensome.
That was obvious when top House Democrats gathered this week to sing “Happy Birthday” to Medicare and Medicaid after the Republicans’ latest failed attempt to repeal Obamacare.

Huddling around a cake, Nancy Pelosi and the others sang, “Happy birthday, Medicare and Medicaid, happy birthday to you.”
“And Social Security,” one Dem chimed in.
“And many more,” Rep. Joe Crowley added.
The House Minority Leader, who has had a pattern of strange behavior recently, also tweeted birthday greetings:
For 52 years, #Medicare & #Medicaid have provided Americans w/ secure retirements & quality health care. Happy Birthday! pic.twitter.com/DzrCDHYCgM

In 2015, the unfunded liability for Medicare was $43 TRILLION.
How many more birthdays can AMERICA celebrate with financial burdens like that?
