CBS pinned the blame on President Trump after agitators clashed with police outside his Phoenix rally.
Or, as the network claims, they “confronted” police.

“A fiery speech from President Trump brought an angry response from demonstrators in Phoenix. Dozens of protesters later confronted police,” according to CBS.
One man thought he was prepared for the police response by wearing a gas mask, but he wasn’t ready for a tear gas canister to hit him directly in the genitals.
After writhing on the ground in pain, the man was helped out of the street by a protester wearing a Colin Kaepernick jersey.
“Pepper balls, tear gas after Trump rally,” CBS 5 reported on the chaos.
