It’s likely Conor Lamb wishes he had that 5 minutes back — as do the dozens of Americans watching that morning.

CNN anchor Alisyn Camerota gushed over the winner in a Pennsylvania special election this week.

After playing a clip of President Trump calling him “Lamb the sham” and claiming he was “better looking” than the Democratic candidate, Camerota asked, “Do you think the president is better looking than you?” with a smirk.

With a laugh, Lamb responded, “I really have no opinion on that one.”

“Hmm, strange,” Camerota said.

She then wanted to know if Lamb’s victory “said something” about President Trump.

“Not really, other than to say there are still plenty of people here who are supportive of him from what I can tell,” Lamb said.

He speculated the president’s two visits contributed to voter turnout.

“I know that there are people who voted for the president who also voted for me and I thank them for hearing me out,” Lamb said.
