A suspect in the van attack in Toronto today was caught on camera repeatedly pulling what appeared to be a gun from behind his back in an obvious attempt to get a police officer to shoot him.
Dramatic video shows a man standing near a damaged white van police say was used to mow down over a dozen pedestrians.
REALLY sounds like he's saying "kill me, I've got a gun in my pocket, shoot me in the head"#toronto #torontoattack pic.twitter.com/RcxkMufNxb

“Get down! Get down!” the officer yells repeatedly as the man has an apparent weapon pointed at him.
Pedestrians, apparently obvious to the danger near them, casually strolled by.
At one point, the man put the weapon behind his back and quickly pulled it out, apparently hoping it would cause the officer to shoot him.
“Kill me!” the man shouted.
“I’ve got a gun in my pocket,” he continued with a thick accent, “shoot me in the head!”
Toronto police say 9 people have died and over a dozen are injured after they were run over by the white van.
