CNN’s chief Trump heckler Jim Acosta posted to Twitter Tuesday to complain about Obama-era polices that have been scrapped by the current administration, but the response was undoubtedly not what he expected.

“Obama policies dumped by Trump: Iran deal, Paris Climate Agreement, Trans-Pacific Trade Deal, DACA, Obamacare Individual Mandate,” Acosta tweeted.

Within minutes, folks from across the country were pointing out the obvious.

“That’s what we elected him to do,” Savage posted, along with a picture of the president next to the message: “Thank God for President Trump!” and an American flag.

“It’s called promises kept,” michie added. “We realize that’s a new concept after 8 yrs of lies. You’ll get used to it. Or not. We don’t care.”

“Yeah Jim. That’s why we voted for him,” Carmine Sabia wrote.

“Bingo!” Carolyn Valk added.

Others trolled Acosta with hilarious memes of celebrities Steve Harvey, Will Farrell and others in celebration, or mocked the CNN correspondent for his blatant distaste for Trump.

“All positive dumps for America! @POTUS works for US interest only! Enough of draining America for other’s benefit! Get the point?” Diz wrote.

“I know!!! Isn’t it great! And only a year in!” Kathleen Long posted. “Just imagine what you have to look forward to!”

“How awesome!” RDM tweeted. “Well done President Trump! 6 ½ more years of winning!”

“Isn’t amazing to have a true American loving President finally in office?” Mike Supe wrote.

“It’s why he got elected. Promises kept,” Joe Foster added. “Now Build That Wall!!!!”

Acosta frequently spars with White House officials during press briefings and attempts to challenge the administration at virtually every turn, including a recent White House Easter Egg Roll for kids. Acosta couldn’t help but shout at President Trump as he colored with a group of children: “What about the DACA kids? Didn’t you kill DACA?”

Trump retorted that Democrats “really let them down” before returning to business, The American Mirror reports.

Acosta has also lashed out at Trump over Fake News Awards that highlighted CNN’s biased and inaccurate reporting, calling the president the “King of Fake News.”

The fake stories from CNN included reports then candidate Trump and his son Donald J. Trump, Jr. got a sneak peak of hacked documents from WikiLeaks during the campaign, the false claim that Trump overfed fish during a visit with the Japanese prime minister, false accusations of Anthony Scaramucci meeting with a Russian, and that wrong claim that former FBI Director James Comey would dispute President Trump’s assertion that he told Trump he was not under investigation.

The Fake News Awards also focused on stories reported by The New York Times, The Washington Post, Newsweek and ABC News that later turned out to be completely wrong.

The Media Research Center recently studied all broadcast evening news coverage of President Trump from January 1 through April 30 and “found 90 percent of the evaluative comments about Trump were negative – precisely the same hostile tone … documented in 2017.”

The difference now is the American public is growing tired of the constant attacks, and unlike the toll the coverage took on the president’s job approval numbers last year, Trump is actually gaining support, going from 37 percent approval on the RealClearPolitics average in December to 43 percent in April.

MRC reports 1,774 minutes of airtime devoted to Trump – or roughly one-third of all evening news time – centered mostly on Trump scandals and controversies, with the alleged Russia collusion eating up 321 minutes, and the legal battle with Stormy Daniels consuming 92 minutes.

In total, evening news spent only 45 percent of its coverage on actual Trump policy issues, and the rest on scandals involving the president or members of his administration.

In comparison, evening news spent just 10 percent of all airtime on President Obama in 2015 and 2016, MRC reports.
