Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hasn’t even been elected to Congress yet, but she’s apparently already moved onto running for president.

While speaking to folks in what appears to be a basement, the socialist darling is already thinking about being “inaugurated,” an event reserved for a commander-in-chief.

Talking about how terrible progressives have it, Cortez said, “After being spurned over and over and over again, short-changed on healthcare, short-changed on criminal justice, short-changed on education, there’s a lot of folks who don’t want to believe anymore.

“And that’s why what we have accomplished is such an immense responsibility. It is a responsibility not just to deliver, because it doesn’t mean you get everything tomorrow,” she continued.

“As much as I would love that. I would love to be inaugurated January 3rd,” she said.

And for those who think she just used the wrong word, she also talked about signing bills.

“January 4th, we’re signing healthcare, we’re signing this,” she said, scribbling a signature in the air.

Ocasio-Cortez said progressives have a “duty” to “fight” for their values.

If she does ever run for president, someone should tell her Inauguration Day is always January 20th, not January 3rd.
