Foreign nationals are meddling in U.S. elections again, and Texas U.S. Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke was apparently accepting their help.
The Daily Caller reports:
Democratic Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke’s senate campaign was flagged by the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on Sunday for accepting “excessive” and “impermissible” donations.
The FEC notified O’Rourke that a preliminary review of his campaign’s July quarterly report showed contributions from one or more individuals with addresses outside of the United States. Donations were also made that “exceed the limit” determined by the federal government. O’Rourke has 45 days to respond.

The FEC provided the O’Rourke campaign with three pages of “excessive, prohibited and impermissible contributions.”
Just a couple weeks ago, left-wing darling David Hogg urged foreigners to give to his preferred candidates — only to be corrected by Michael Moore.
After screening Moore’s anti-Trump “Fahrenheit 11/9” at the Toronto Film Festival, Hogg and other Parkland, Florida high school students joined the millionaire filmmaker on stage during a Q&A.
“I have a question for you guys,” Hogg said after grabbing the mic from Moore.
“Who’s ready to save America?”
The Canadian audience cheered.
“Who’s ready to make America the country we say it is on paper, and make it the actual country that it wants to be?” he asked.
Hogg was critical of the idea of not allowing convicts to vote in elections.
As Hogg ranted about what he saw as an injustice, someone yelled, “Shame!”
“Turn that shame into your vote,” he responded, adding, “if you’re not Canadian.”
“Um,” he continued, turning to Moore, “I think Canadians can donate to political campaigns in the United States.”
Moore shook his head in disagreement.
“They can’t?” Hogg asked.
“Well, uh, vote here,” he said, causing the audience to laugh at his best attempt at covering his ignorance.
“Learn from us,” he lectured the audience. “Don’t let this happen here because we need to come to you guys if we stay on this track.”
Moore then took the mic away from him.
“So uh, no, they can’t give us money,” Moore told Hogg.
