The classic Christmas film “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” is rife with bigotry and bullying, set in winter wonderland that promotes intolerance, hate and oppression.

Even Santa himself is a “prick” and his helpers are homophobic murderers, according to a deep analysis by Social Justice Warriors.

After more than a half-century on the air, liberals are suddenly offended by the 1964 tale of how a red-nose reindeer defied nay-sayers to save Christmas with the help of an outcast elf, and they’re lashing out online.

“Oh no. It’s #RudolphTheRedNosedReindeer,” MJ Caan posted. “I don’t have strength to watch this again. Those poor elves. That bully with the whip. Abusive deer. Dentist shaming. Unloved toys. It’s too much.”

“Watching the traditional American cinematic allegory about a set of dysmorphic, gender-queer heroes fighting against convention to carve their place within a hetero-centric, patriarchal, totalitarian state,” Colleen Brennan-Barry added. “Gripping. #RudolphTheRedNosedReindeer”

When CBS aired the film last week, “viewers noticed some very disturbing details,” according to the Huffington Post, and they’re “seriously problematic.”

“Yearly reminder that #Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer is a parable on racism & homopho bia w/ Santa as a bigoted exploitative prick,” Garrytt Poirier posted to Twitter.

“Santa’s operation is an HR nightmare and in serious need of diversity and inclusion training,” Dave added.

The politically correct critics took aim at Donner’s “verbal abuse” and shame of his son, Rudolph, bullying from the school coach and other reindeer, animal cruelty by Santa’s elves, the North Pole’s firearm laws, banishment to the Island of Misfit Toys and other make believe grievances.

“Has anyone else noticed that within the first five minutes of #RudolphTheRedNosedReindeer two characters get bullied?” Daryl Williams posted.

“Watching Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. The moral of the story I’ve learned since watching it as a kid: People are dicks until the need something from you,” Kim Huck added.

“Let it be known that the toy bird that can’t fly gets murdered by one of Santa’s elves during the end credits of #RudolphTheRedNosedReindeer,” Keith ONeil wrote.

“One of the greatest mysteries of modern times: What is wrong with the dolly on the Island of Misfit Toys?? Why is she a misfit??” Ellen O’Neill questioned.

“This … movie (?) has aged horribly,” James Humphrey complained. “What the actual f**k? Outright bullying, racism, exploitation, you name it!”

“If I was #RudolphTheRedNosedReindeer I would have told Santa to kiss my red glowing ass,” Carl Boogie wrote. “Now you need me? Good luck flying in the dark.”

“Santa let them bully Rudolph and joined in the shaming until his freak disability became useful,” Teresa wrote.

Plenty of folks defended the film, many with posts about fond childhood memories, while others mocked the feigned outrage over a movie that’s become a tradition for more than a half century.

“So #CharlieBrownThanksgiving and #RudolphTheRedNosedReindeer are suddenly racist after 45 years?” Ted Talevski posted. “I’m starting to think there’s a group of people whose job it is to re-watch old TV shows to find something they claim is offensive in them.”

“In today’s world Rudolph would’ve asked for his safe space & the coach would’ve been sued for discrimination,” Danny wrote.

“His red nose lights our way to communism, as we all know,” Werner Twertzog posted.

“#RudolphTheRedNosedReindeer thread PROVES if you look for something hard enough you will find it,” Morbid Angel tweeted. “Too bad everyone is always looking for the negative. Pretty sure these folks are the same ones who spent hours looking for secret messages in Disney movies too.”

Donald Trump Jr. also weighed in and summed up the situation in four words: “Liberalism is a disease.”
