The Weekly Standard — which has been decidedly antagonistic of President Trump and his supporters — is shuttering after 23 years of being a conservative thought leader.

Bill Kristol, the editor who oversaw the downfall of the publication, took to Twitter to confirm the news.

“All good things come to an end,” Kristol tweeted on Friday morning. “And so, after 23 years, does The Weekly Standard. I want to express my gratitude to our readers and my admiration for my colleagues. We worked hard to put out a quality magazine, and we had a good time doing so. And we have much more to do. Onward!”

Interestingly, he signed off with the very same slogan as the name of Hillary Clinton’s political organization, Onward Together.

“Onward” is a sign off for Hillary, as well.

“I know the past two years have been difficult,” Hillary recently wrote to a fan, “but let’s keep supporting each other, looking forward, and doing the most good. Onward!” she said in a November 30 note.

A fitting end to an important publication that undoubtedly met it’s demise due to an untreated case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
