Border security is apparently a joke to MSNBC.
Reporter Katy Tur mocked the idea of a border wall on Thursday, suggesting a “beaded curtain” would be cheaper, and include free shipping.

Riffing on a statement by Nancy Pelosi, who claimed that Trump’s concrete wall has devolved into a “beaded curtain,” Tur noted 900 miles of such a meaningless deterrent would cost $31.3 million for the drapes and rods.
“That is .006% of the $5 billion the president wants,” Tur said.
“This right here is the definition of fiscal responsibility, people,” she said sarcastically.
“And the best part — free shipping!” she exclaimed.
“…he’s already backed off of the cement – now he’s down to, I think, a beaded curtain or something, I’m not sure where he is,” Pelosi told USA Today.
MSNBC’s mockery of border security came just hours after a California police officer was murdered by an illegal alien.
Former police officer John Cardillo posted a photo of Ronil Singh and his family on Christmas — just hours before he was killed.

The Los Angeles Police Department posted a photo of the suspect and asked for Tiwtter users to help catch him:
