Democrats aren’t waiting to impeach President Trump.
California Congressman Brad Sherman is filing articles of impeachment against the President today — the first day the Democrats that the majority in the U.S. House of Representatives.
CSPAN producer Craig Caplan reports Sherman will reintroduce legislation to oust Trump.
Congressman @BradSherman (D-CA30) will reintroduce his legislation in House today on opening day of 116th Congress impeaching President Donald Trump for "high crimes and misdemeanors." https://t.co/HMUzQNpz53

Caplan linked to a resolution Sherman and Rep. Al Green introduced during the last Congress that went nowhere.
Accusing the President of “high crimes and misdemeanors,” the resolution claims Trump “sought to use his authority to hinder and cause the termination of” investigations related to alleged Russian “collusion” during the 2016 campaign.
Robert Mueller’s “with hunt” is ongoing, with no end in sight.
Nevertheless, Sherman claims Trump “has acted in a manner contrary to his trust as President and subversive cause of law and justice and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.”
Soon-to-be Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi fought emphatically to not have her candidates not talk about impeachment during the midterm election, but that now is going to change.
