In what won’t surprise many, the foul-mouthed Democrat who called President Donald Trump a “motherf**ker” has no idea how the federal government works.
During an interview with MSNBC, Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-MI, claimed that the Trump Hotel in Washington, D.C., is being staffed by park rangers despite national parks being closed as part of the partial government shutdown.
The segment kicked off when she was asked by host Chris Hayes if she still believes Trump should be impeached.
After saying she “absolutely” believes still holds that radical position, the Muslim lawmaker claimed the lease agreement by the Trump organization employing the rangers is unconstitutional.
“Today, just today we found out that even though our national parks are closed that the Trump Tower here in D.C., the Trump hotel in D.C. is being staffed by the park rangers. Despite the fact that we have no staffing, no parks open for the American people and even today the inspector general said the federal agencies were in violation of the United States Constitution by creating a lease agreement with the Trump organization,” she said.

“Look, this is leading continually on to know there’s a direct violation of the United States Constitution. Look, think about the precedent that we’re setting, allowing a president of the United States not to divest in all of his corporations. He’s making decisions based on profit, not based on what’s the best interest of our people,” she added.
According to a recent piece in The New York Times written by the U.S. General Services Administration, the lease agreement states that the park rangers are there to protect and keep open a historic clock tower in a federally-owned building housing the Trump International Hotel.
By law, the GSA is required to keep the site open:
Amanda Osborn, a spokeswoman for the General Services Administration, which owns the building and leases it to the Trump Organization, said in an email that the shutdown exemption for the comparatively little-known clock tower was “unrelated to the facility’s tenant” — the Trump business. The agency says the law that put it in charge of the site obligates it to keep it open, even as federal Washington closes around it.
The National Park Service states that it utilizes agreements with third parties to keep “specified visitor services,” such as keeping the historic clock tower open.
“GSA agreed in 2013 to lease the Old Post Office Building to the Trump Organization for 60 years, so the company could renovate the city’s former main General Post Office and turn it into a hotel,” the policy states.
Tlaib misled viewers into believing that Trump was ordering federal workers to protect his property without being paid during the shutdown, which is categorically false.
Last month, Tlaib vowed to impeach Trump and used profane language in front of her younger young.
During an event for MoveOn, the Muslim lawmaker — who took her oath on the Quran and not the Bible — began by recalling a story to the crowd about her son.
She quoted her son as saying, “Look, mama, you won. Bullies don’t win,” she began, adding, “And I said, ‘Baby, they don’t.’ Because we’re gonna go in there and impeach the motherf**ker!”

The room full of hardcore leftists roared with cheers and applause at the idea of removing Trump from office despite no evidence at all to even begin impeachment proceedings.
