Ann Stone, ex-wife of political consultant and Trump ally Roger Stone, appeared on America’s Voice News Friday to discuss her former husband’s recent arrest and charges stemming from special counsel Robert Mueller’s years-long investigation into still unproven allegations of collusion with Russia during the 2016 election.

Stone was arrested in a pre-dawn FBI raid on his Florida home Friday and charged with seven process crimes for misstatements to investigators, none of which involve collusion.

“First of all, let’s take a look at what he’s charged with,” Ann Stone told America’s Voice. “All of them are process crimes, none of them are related to Russia or collusion. … None of us have really seen any evidence that says we can definitively prove what he said … is not true.”

The charges — which included obstruction of an official proceeding, making false statements and witness tampering – stem from allegations from others targeted by the Mueller probe, she said, rather than solid evidence.

“What I’ve heard so far is the reason they’re saying some of his testimony isn’t true is because of people who claim otherwise, and the people who came forward to claim otherwise are a pretty dubious lot,” Ann Stone said. “I think that helps him in the long run.

Several of the alleged false statements stem from Stone’s testimony before the House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, though Stone has denied any intentional misstatements and vowed to fight all of the charges in court.

Stone told InfoWars in an exclusive interview after his arrest that the “bogus” charges are simply the latest development in a politically motivated investigation into collusion that doesn’t exist. He also promised he would never “bear false witness against the president,” a longtime friend.

“My money is on Roger. Roger is very smart, he’s not going to do something stupid. He would do things in consultation with lawyers so I’m sure anything he’s done he’s been advised,” Ann Stone said. “So I feel in the end when everything is heard out, he will be exonerated.

“And this is somebody who divorced him, so I have no dog in this fight,” Ann Stone said. “I have no reason to say that other than I know him well, and he’s smart.”

America’s Voice host Amanda Head pointed to the apparent double standard involving Mueller’s charges against Trump associates and advisors, who have faced stiffer prosecution than others who have made similar mistakes in the past.

Head pointed to Trump campaign advisor Paul Manafort, former National Security Advisor Mike Flynn, and Stone as prime examples of the selective prosecution.

“It seems like their biggest charge, their biggest flaw, their biggest mistake was having any connection to the president, because we could arrest a serial killer or a mass murderer down on the border and they would not be treated as aggressively and as harshly as Roger was thing morning,” Head said.

Stone told InfoWars 29 FBI agents in 17 vehicles, armed with automatic weapons, stormed into his home as CNN cameras waited outside shortly before 6 a.m. He also said agents terrorized his wife and dogs.

“It’s unbelievable,” Ann Stone said, “it’s really almost Gestapo tactics the do that. Unbelievable.”

“There absolutely is a two-tiered justice system, otherwise” Hillary Clinton, former FBI Director James Comey and others on the left would also face charges, she said.

“Yes, there is a two-tiered justice system. If you’re connected to Trump or you’re a Republican, you’re presumed guilty and this has got to stop,” Ann Stone continued. “The American people have to take a stand at some point and say ‘this will not stand.’”

Ann Stone said she’s hopeful that with a new Attorney General investigators will take a harder look at the shady political activates involving Democrats.

She also predicted that Mueller’s ongoing investigation will end in a “great disappoint for the Democrats.”

“I mean look at the charges,” Ann Stone said. “Roger’s charges … they’re nothing. There’s nothing there. The country is not in danger because of anything he did.”
