Robert “Beto” O’Rourke is now on record as saying he’s never “taken acid.”
The Democrat presidential candidate signed a skateboard for a fan in Madison, Wisconsin today, and as he did, the man popped an awkward question.
As @BetoORourke signed a skateboard for Tyler Baggins in Madison, Baggins asks Beto if he’s ever dropped acid. Beto says no. Baggins was prompted by Alex Jones saying that seeing as how Beto as teen wrote under handle Psychedelic Warlord, someone should ask him that question. pic.twitter.com/7iWoejIV26

“Cowabunga dude!” the guy exclaimed as O’Rourke bent over to sign the item.
“Can I ask you a question?” he said, leaning into the candidate.
“Yeah,” Beto replied as the man said, “Alright, I’ll whisper it.”
“Have you ever taken acid?”
“No, I have not taken acid,” O’Rourke answered. “Thank you for asking.”
During his failed U.S. Senate campaign, Beto took to a stage while cruising on a skateboard.

The crowd went wild.
Maybe Beto will be the candidate for skaters and acid heads everywhere.
