Politicians all handle protesters differently. Some stand up to them.
Others, like Kamala Harris, reflexively hand them the microphone.
That’s exactly what happened today when the California senator was speaking at a MoveOn event and a nut with a man bun bearing a press pass rushed the stage.
He approached a seated Harris, who just surrendered the mic.

“Thank you so much, sir, for your big idea,” an event rep told him as he ranted into Harris’s mic.
Security quickly swarmed and wrestled him away from the presidential candidate.
“It’s okay, it’s okay,” the woman calmed the room and the man was pushed backstage.
Moments later, Harris returned and the event resumed.
