China is dunking on Hillary Clinton after the former first lady posted to Twitter this week in support of protestors in Hong Kong amid a standoff with mainland China over the city’s autonomy.

The People’s Daily, the communist country’s state news source, took offense to Clinton’s Tuesday tweet, “May we all stand in solidarity with the people of Hong Kong as they speak out for democracy, freedom from repression, and a world they long to see.”

“.@HillaryClinton has called for support of the rioters in Hong Kong,” the People’s Daily responded Thursday. “Let’s see what happened when she ‘supported’ Syria, Libya, Yemen, Iraq.”

The post included a video of Clinton addressing the situations in those countries with both English and Chinese subtitles, along with Twitter commentary and dramatic music.

“No please,” one post read. “Last time you stand with solidarity with others, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Yemen … all of them burned to the ground.”

The minute and half long video, titled “How American democracy and freedom damage the world peace,” featured Clinton’s comments during her time as secretary of state, transposed with video of how her leadership played out in real life.

“The transition to democracy in Syria has begun and it’s time for Assad to get out of the way. As president Obama said this morning, no outside power can or should impose on this transition. It is up to the Syrian people to choose their own leaders,” Clinton said in a 2011 clip.

“Around 400,000 people have died in the Syrian civil war since 2011,” a caption read.

In another clip, also from 2011, features Obama’s secretary of state at a press conference where she reported “the United States continues to watch the situation in Libya with alarm.

“There is no ambivalence, there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that the violence must stop. The government of Libya has a responsibility to respect universal rights of all of its citizens,” Clinton preached.

Her comments were accompanied by footage of rioters and protestors in the country three years later.

“Libyan Civil War has caused almost 9,000 people die since 2014,” the caption read.

It was the same deal with Clinton’s pontifications about Yemen and Iraq.

“We continue to support a unified and stable Yemen, and we continue to support the departure of President Saleh,” Clinton said in another clip paired with images of gun-toting rebels and the caption “More than 70,000 killed in Yemeni civil war since 2015.”

In Iraq, Clinton said in 2009: “We are working closely together to support a stable, sovereign, and self-reliant Iraq, and we see so much progress occurring.”

“The Iraq War lasted 8 years Lancet estimated more than 650,000 deaths,” the caption read over footage of firefights in the streets.

The Twitter video concludes with footage of several young organizers meeting with Americans in Hong Kong, as well as protestors toting American flags through the streets amid the city’s heated protests.

“Now America actually intervene the Hong Kong affairs,” the caption read.
