Hillary Clinton is making the rounds in the media to promote a new book with her daughter about gutsy women, leading some to speculate about whether she may be gearing up for a rematch with Trump.
But while she’s soaking up the attention and flouting herself as symbol of female empowerment, folks who know better are calling out the former first lady’s hypocritical grandstanding for what it is.
No… it’s NOT gutsy to stay married to a rapist. ITS CALLED GUTLESS. https://t.co/vlzlhz6uvI

“Asked the gutsiest thing she’s ever done, Hillary Clinton tells @GMA, ‘Personally, make the decision to stay in my marriage,’” ABC News posted with a video clip to Twitter. “’Publicly, politically, run for president. And keep going. Just get up every day and keep going.’”
Juanita Broaddrick, who was raped by then Arkansas Attorney General Bill Clinton in 1978, offered her thoughts about Clinton’s “gutsy” accomplishments in response to the ABC News post.
“No … it’s NOT gutsy to stay married to a rapist,” she wrote. “ITS CALLED GUTLESS.”
Clinton’s latest book, The Book of Gutsy Women, is allegedly co-authored with her daughter Chelsea to trumpet women who have changed the world and America throughout history. The publicity tour for the book is perfectly timed to elevate Clinton’s profile as President Trump faces a fresh controversy and announced impeachment led by House Democrats.
The book launch also coincides with declining poll numbers for the only moderate establishment Democrat, former vice president Joe Biden. Biden’s daily blunders and advancing age pose serious questions about whether he can go the distance against Trump in 2020, pundits on both sides of the aisle agree.
The situation is fueling the rise of socialist Sen. Elizabeth Warren and providing a big opportunity for a centrist Democrat to join the race. Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon believes Clinton will capitalize, and her recent attack against Trump as “illegitimate,” high profile book tour, and other evidence suggests she’s already secretly campaigning.
“She is running,” Bannon told Fox Business. “She’s just trying to decide how to fit her way in.”
In the last couple days alone, Clinton appeared on multiple news and talk shows, criticized Trump’s call with Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky, criticized the handling of a whistleblower complaint about the call, declared Trump “illegitimate,” and offered her unsolicited advice about Democrats’ efforts to impeach the president.
“The president is a corrupt human tornado,” Clinton tweeted yesterday.
She also claims Trump has “betrayed our country” and labeled him a “danger” to the republic.
“We should all be worried about what he might do that would endanger Americans, American lives, American security, and that is why this impeachment inquiry is so critically important,” Clinton told Now This. “He has gone beyond all bounds of appropriate presidential behavior. And we’re not sure what he might do.”
Despite claims to the contrary, Clinton herself has hinted at a rematch, alleging recently “there were many funny things that happened in my election that will not happen again. And I’m hoping that both the public and press understand the way Trump plays the game,” according to The Sun.
