Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib plans to arrest White House officials who don’t comply with Congressional subpoenas to testify in the impeachment inquiry into President Trump.

The Detroit socialist is plotting with her radical allies in Congress to find a place to jail those who don’t comply – a situation she described as “unprecedented.”

Of course, it was only the last administration when then Attorney General Eric Holder refused similar subpoenas to answer questions about a government gun-running operation, which forced lawmakers to hold the Obama appointee in contempt of Congress.

Tlaib’s lies came at a recent town hall, where America Rising PAC captured footage for all to see.

One man in attendance told Tlaib that if Trump’s people won’t testify, Congress should utilize U.S. Marshals to “hunt them down” and compel them to change their minds.

“This is the last caucus conversation we had,” Tlaib replied. “Do you know this is really unprecedented? It’s the first time we’ve ever had a situation like this.

“So they’re trying to figure out, no joke, ‘well, is it the DC police that goes and gets them?’” she continued. “Where do we hold them? I’m not in those kinds of conversations, but I’m asking, like, ‘what happens?’ And they’re like, ‘well, Rashida, we’re trying to figure it out ourselves because this is uncharted territory.’

“They’re trying to be like, ‘Well, where are we going to put them?’ ‘Where are we going to hold them?’” Tlaib said as several folks in the audience laughed.

“I mean those are the kinds of things … they’re trying to tread carefully.”

Tlaib is one of several socialist freshmen in Congress known collectively as “The Squad.” Tlaib, also one of the first two Muslim women in the lower chamber, introduced legislation to launch impeachment proceedings against Trump months ago. She’s also selling “Impeach the MF” t-shirts, cashing in on her infamously profane outburst following her swearing in ceremony in January.

“I’m like you all,” Tlaib told her constituents. “I ask the same questions. Well, what happens when they don’t comply. The fact of the matter is, we held (Attorney General William) Barr and secretary (Wilbur) Ross, from Commerce, … in contempt. Well, what happens if they don’t continue to not comply?

“And everybody is looking at each other like, ‘We haven’t had this ever happen before.’”

It’s not true.

Less than a decade ago, in 2012, the House of Representatives voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of court for refusing to turn over evidence about Operation Fast and Furious, a government sponsored gun-running operation that ultimately led to the deaths of countless innocent people.

“The House approved a pair of criminal and civil measures against the attorney general, marking the first time in American history the head of the Justice Department has been held in contempt by Congress,” CNN reported at the time.

“House members approved the criminal contempt measure in a 255-67 vote. Almost every House Republican backed the measure, along with 17 Democrats. Shortly thereafter, the civil measure passed in a sharply polarized 258-95 vote.”
