As rumors pick up that Hillary Clinton may, indeed, run for president again in 2020, a new book is bringing some of her old skeletons back out of the closet.

The Hollywood Reporter on Ronan Farrow’s new book, “Catch and Kill”:

[Harvey] Weinstein also attempted to leverage his long-term relationship with Hillary Clinton to pressure Farrow, he writes. In summer 2017, while Farrow was trying to lock down an interview with Clinton for his foreign policy book — while also still working on the Weinstein story — he received a call from Clinton’s publicist, Nick Merrill, who told him that the “big story” Farrow was working on was a “concern for us.” Then, in September 2017, according to an email cited in the book, Weinstein wrote to Deborah Turness, the ex-president of NBC News who now runs NBC News International, to propose a docuseries on Clinton. “Your Hillary doc series sounds absolutely stunning,” Turness responded.

This comes as Clinton continues to tease that she may run against President Trump next year.

Clinton taunted President Trump on Tuesday, telling PBS, “Maybe there does need to be a rematch. Obviously I can beat him again.”

Trump defeated Clinton, 304 electoral votes to 227, but that provocative statement comes on the heels of a tweet teasing another run.

Trump urged Clinton to get into the race to “steal it away” from Elizabeth Warren, as she did with Bernie Sanders in 2016.

“I think that Crooked Hillary Clinton should enter the race to try and steal it away from Uber Left Elizabeth Warren,” Trump tweeted on Tuesday.” Only one condition. The Crooked one must explain all of her high crimes and misdemeanors including how & why she deleted 33,000 Emails AFTER getting ‘C’ Subpoena!”

“Don’t tempt me,” Clinton responded. “Do your job.”
