Former vice president Joe Biden can’t help himself.

Despite repeated public complaints and scores of embarrassing videos of his “tactile politics” online, Biden is still nuzzling his nose on the necks of young girls.

Biden sniffed his latest victim at a recent Iowa campaign stop, where he invaded the personal space of a five-year-old to whisper sweet nothings in her ear.

“Biden smells another child’s hair,” Wojciech Pawelczyk posted to Twitter with a video of the cringeworthy encounter.

The clip, from a PBS News broadcast, caught Biden as he turned to the child in the crowd – carried by a man who appeared to be her father – and leaned in to within inches of her face. He muttered a few words, then asked the child how old she is.

The girl, dressed in a pink fleece jacket, held up her hand, indicating she is five.

The man carrying the girl then leaned her toward the 77-year-old career politician for a hug, and Biden kissed her on the head. After the embrace, the girl leaned back toward the man, but Biden didn’t let go. He pulled the child in tight with his right arm, said “let me tell you something,” and slipped his nose in her locks as he whispered in her ear.

Then he stepped back.

“Remember what I told you, Ok?” Biden said. “You got to take care of daddy.”

The girl drew closer to the man, then turned away as Biden rubbed her back.

The trio snapped a picture before Biden moved on.

“Why do people bring this man their kids to touch & sniff?” AgroistView posted in response to the video.

“The same reason parents left their kids with Michael Jackson,” Gregory John wrote, “they are mesmerized by star power and use their kids as bait so they can bask in the glow.”

“He really cannot keep his hands off the kid or nose out of their hair,” 1UnknownSubject added. “Something is wrong with the guy.”

“He really can’t help himself,” Jonathan Wiskee wrote.

Biden has offered no apologies for his self-described “tactile” politics, though he’s admitted it makes women and children uncomfortable. Last March, Nevada assemblywoman Lucy Flores exposed how Biden kissed her and sniffed her head during a 2014 campaign rally, criticism that prompted several other women to speak out about Biden’s inappropriate touching throughout his career, mostly stuff like rubbing noses, thigh touches, hair sniffing and back rubs.

In total more than a half dozen women came forward to complain about the unwanted affection.
