As the crowds grow around the Virginia capitol today, a county sheriff who is a part of the pro-Second Amendment protest in Richmond says he will not enforce laws being proposed by state Democrats.
This is Sheriff Richard Vaughan of Grayson County, VA. “If the bills go through as proposed, they will not be enforced. They are unconstitutional.” This is not true, according to the Exec. Dir. of the VA Assoc. of Chiefs of Police… #Richmond2ARally pic.twitter.com/mjpQupE6of

“If the bills go through as proposed, they will not be enforced. They are unconstitutional,” Grayson County Sheriff Richard Vaughn told Andrew Kimmell.
“We support and uphold the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of Virginia, and that’s what we’ll do,” he added.
Kimmell quoted the executive director of the Virginia Association of Chiefs of Police, Dana Schrad, as responding, “The courts are the proper branch of government to determine the constitutionality of laws duly enacted by the legislature.”
Meanwhile, the crowd chanted “we will not comply.”
