Joe Biden was surrounded by “South Carolina for Biden” signs, but he apparently thought he was in North Carolina today.
Flanked by local black leaders and touting his housing plans, Biden said, “North Carolina has the highest eviction rate— the highest eviction rate of any, uh, uh, of any state, of any place in the country.
“More than triple the national average. And by the way, housing and access to housing is a problem all across the country. There’s a significant housing shortage in big cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, but also the consequences you see right here, right here in North…Charleston,” he said.
