Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez encouraged people to ignore the haters on Thursday night because her Green New Deal will provide “free” houses and healthcare for everyone.

During an interview on NBC’s “Late Night” with host Seth Myers, the Bronx socialist was tossed softball questions most of the night, but she ended up delivering quite a few mind-boggling remarks.

Ocasio-Cortez told people not to worry about the $93 trillion price tag on her socialist measure because she claims it gives, not takes, from people.

“So that we all can afford to have more in life. So an affordable apartment isn’t a dream but a norm and that health care is a right, not a privilege,” she said.

She went on to imply that Americans should be grateful for her Green New Deal, arguing that it will provide “free” housing, health care, and college tuition for everyone.

“It is to be able to generate more and to make sure that we’re investing in working-class Americans so that we all can afford to have more in life,”Ocasio-Cortez said.

“So an affordable apartment isn’t a dream but a norm and that health care is a right, not a privilege,” she said.

As a selling point, the socialist firebrand claimed her measure includes tuition-free college, electric vehicles, and 100 percent renewable energy.

“What it does is that it puts forward the large scope, the overall vision of what we’re trying to accomplish, and to say, ‘Listen, if we’re going to make progress, we need to declare our North Star, and our North Star is 100% renewable energy,” she said.

Grinning and waving her hands all over the place, she concluded, “It’s Medicare-for-All. It’s tuition-free public colleges. It’s investing in technology and renewable resources and electric vehicles.”

At another point in the interview, she also suggested that Fox News hosts talk about her because of she’s an above average-looking 29-year-old female member of Congress, not because her socialist ideas could lead to the entire country going broke.

“One obsession, or a group of people that seem to have an obsession with you are our friends over at Fox News. They talk about you a lot. Are you surprised at the speed with which they seemed to have shifted all of their attention and programming to you?” Myers asked.

“I mean, it’s weird,” Ocasio-Cortez responded, “and like, like why are so many grown men just obsessed with this, like, 29-year-old, I mean, it’s, it’s great, I love the…” she trailed off as the audience laughed.

Myers then implied Fox News hosts only discuss Ocasio-Cortez because they are perverted men.

“I mean…” Myers began before Ocasio-Cortez chimed in, saying,  “On second thought… No, but I think it’s really funny.”

The core of the socialist legislation is to require the U.S. to eliminate “pollution and greenhouse gas emissions” and meet “100 percent of the power demand in the United States through clean, renewable, and zero-emission energy sources” within 10 years.

The legislation calls for every single building in the United States to be “upgraded or replaced.”

But more importantly, the cost of the Green New deal could literally bankrupt the nation.

One of the first studies found that the measure would cost an estimated $7 trillion. Another study found that it could be closer to $50 trillion, with a third study finding that it could actually be around $93 trillion.
