Does Hillary Clinton have the stamina to make it to Election Day?
As the general election reaches a fever pitch, Hillary’s future public appearances remain a mystery.
Clinton is scheduled to attend two Iowa rallies today, in Cedar Rapids and Des Moines.
But then she has no announced public appearances, according to two prominent websites that track her schedule.
Vice President nominee Tim Kaine and Hillary’s top surrogates, meanwhile, will remain active, HillarySpeeches.com and WillHillaryWin.com report.
Kaine will appear in Tallahassee, Florida today, and in Taylor and Warren, Michigan on Sunday. He has events scheduled as far out as Tuesday, with two announced appearances in Wisconsin.
Bill Clinton is scheduled to make Pennsylvania stops in Aliquippa, Duncansville and Reading on Friday. On Saturday, he’ll attend rallies in Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio. He’ll make two appearances in North Carolina on Sunday.
President Obama will be rallying Clinton supporters in Orlando, Florida today. Vice President Biden will make stops in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada on Saturday.
While the the campaign typically only schedules campaign events 72 to 96 hours in advance, it is strange to not see any public appearances scheduled for Hillary Clinton only days before the election.
Hillary Clinton’s regularly light schedule has not received scrutiny from the mainstream media, but they did question Donald Trump earlier this week when he attended a ribbon cutting for his new Washington, DC hotel.
“To people who say you’re taking time out of swing states to go do this you say?” CNN reporter Dana Bash asked Trump.
“I say the following,” Trump responded, “You have been covering me for the last long time. I did yesterday eight stops and three major speeches and I have been doing this for weeks straight.
“I’m going to North Carolina, then I’m going to Florida. I’m going up to New Hampshire,” Trump said. “For you to ask me that question is actually very insulting because Hillary Clinton does one stop then she goes home and sleeps.
“And yet you’ll ask me that question.”
Editor’s note: This will be updated as more events are publicly announced.
