Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is on a roll lately with crazy ideas for saving the world.
During an Instagram live session on Sunday night, the New York lawmaker gave viewers advice on how to cook, interior design, and dating as well as suggested people should reconsider having children to save the planet.
She also failed to touch on the humanitarian crisis in the socialist-stricken Venezuela and implied that if her Green New Deal is not passed by Congress, we’re all essentially going to die in the near future.
Twitter user Gob Abierto uploaded several clips of Ocasio-Cortez’s comments, many of which are mind-boggling.
In the first clip, Ocasio-Cortez gave viewers advice on cooking, dating, and designing while making absolutely no mention of Venezuela, which is under total collapse as the socialist Maduro regime has killed civilians and is refusing to allow humanitarian aid to reach people on the brink of starvation.

Later in her talk, Ocasio-Cortez pulls something out of a plastic bag, which gave her another idea: we must ban all plastic bags!
“Socialist @AOC mulls banning plastic bags, since she wishes they don’t exist, and pours herself a glass of wine,” Abierto wrote.

In another clip uploaded by Abierto, the 29-year-old socialist lawmaker informs her viewers that she was “forced” to change apartments due to death threats.
But she appears to give away the real reason why she may have switched apartments just a few seconds later, suggesting that she wanted a “second bedroom” so that she could have more room.

Ocasio-Cortez then spent several minutes discussing her socialist Green New Deal, which would require the U.S. to eliminate “pollution and greenhouse gas emissions” and meet “100 percent of the power demand in the United States through clean, renewable, and zero-emission energy sources” within 10 years.
After saying “like” several times because she was struggling to stay focused on her thoughts, Ocasio-Cortez weirdly argued that people should consider not having children because of global warming and again argued that people will die soon if her legislation isn’t passed in Congress.
In addition to her mind-numbing policy idea, she also struggled mightily to slice a potato.

Ocasio-Cortez’s main talking point lately is to claim that we are all going to die in the near future if her Green New Deal is not passed.
Her legislation is so bad that it also calls for action against “farting cows” because their flatulence is destroying the planet, she argues.
During an appearance on the Showtime series “Desus & Mero,” the New York lawmaker was asked about “farting cows” in the Green New Deal “frequently asked questions” section.
“In the deal, what we talk about is, it’s true, is that we need to take a look at factory farming, period. It’s wild,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
“And so, it’s not to say you get rid of agriculture. It’s not to say we’re going to force everybody to go vegan or anything crazy like that,” Ocasio-Cortez added.
She continued, “But it’s to say, listen, we’ve got to address factory farming. Maybe we shouldn’t be eating a hamburger for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Like, let’s keep it real.”

The legislation also calls for every single building in the United States to be “upgraded or replaced.”
Early estimates have found that the Green New Deal would cost taxpayers an estimated $7 trillion to implement, and it may not do much of anything to combat climate change.
Ocasio-Cortez also told a group of teenagers last week that they can do their part in addressing climate change by eating peanut butter for breakfast.
The New York socialist also said at an event last month honoring Martin Luther King, Jr., that climate change is “our World War II.”
“I think that the part of it that is generational is that millennials and people, in Gen Z, and all these folks that come after us are looking up and we’re like, the world is gonna end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change. And your biggest issue is, your biggest issue is how are we going to pay for it? — and like this is the war, this is our World War II,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
She was attempting to argue that World War II — where over 60 million people were killed — is comparable to climate change.
